This one-of-a-kind Antheia nightdress is the embodiment of grace, constructed of a hand painted silk crepe de chine full slip, layered under a flowing skirt of silk crinkle chiffon. The long under slip is hand painted by Liseanne and is part of a special collection designed for Wear Lacma, an art and fashion project featuring unique edition pieces created by Los Angeles's designers and inspired by the museum's permanent collection and exhibitions. The motif is based on an early 20th century Japanese watercolor of a Banana Tree in Rain.
Gathers at the bodice form a gentle neckline with a three buttoned keyhole. Long ties at the waist enable it to be worn either loose or cinched, depending on your fancy. The straps are fully adjustable with custom double plated 18K gold sliders.
Antheia was one of the three Graces in Greek mythology, and was the goddess of flowers, and human love. The Graces were the goddesses who presided over the pleasures of life.
Each piece in the LFrank Wardrobe collection is made exclusively in Los Angeles in small production batches. Please allow 2-3 weeks for special orders, or for items ordered that are currently out of stock.
